The event is BYOB and the band auxiliary will have a concession table with snacks, soft drinks, bottled water and ice for sale. Tables can be reserved in advance for eight or more people by calling MMB Auxiliary President Marci Hutson at 321-339-7705.

“Some of our patrons reserve tables and use the dances to host special-occasion gatherings for families and friends,” said Martin. “There is no extra charge for this beyond the basic dance tickets for everyone.”

Advance tickets may be purchased in Melbourne at WMMB Radio and the Liberty Bell Memorial Museum, at Marion Music in Palm Bay, Brass and Reed Music Center in Merritt Island, Guitar Haven in Indian Harbour Beach, Art Gallery of Viera, and Ocean Sports World in Cocoa Beach.

Those who would like to brush up on their dancing skills can do so from 6 to 7 p.m., when Laura Beers offers lessons (www.adancersvoice.com or 751-4766). The fee for lessons is $5, payable to the instructor.
