MELBOURNE, FL, November 14, 2018 – Toe-tapping tunes and holiday classics will ring in the season of cheer as Swingtime presents its popular Holiday Dance, beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 7, at the Melbourne Auditorium, 625 E. “This is always a fun and memorable evening,” said Art Martin, Swingtime conductor. “We encourage everyone to get their tickets early and think about reserving a table for 10 to host their own holiday gathering for friends and family, complete with live music and dancing.”

The event is BYOB. Snacks and mixers will be available for purchase. Tables can be reserved in advance for eight or more people by calling MMB Auxiliary President Marci Hutson at 321-339-7705.

Advance tickets may be purchased in Melbourne at WMMB Radio and Genesis Boutique, at Marion Music in Palm Bay, Brass and Reed Music Center in Merritt Island, Guitar Haven in Indian Harbour Beach, Art Gallery of Viera, and Ocean Sports World in Cocoa Beach.

Those who would like to brush up on dancing skills can do so from 6 to 7 p.m., when Laura Beers offers lessons ( or 751-4766). The fee for lessons is $5, payable to the instructor.

Call 321-339-7705 or visit for more information and the specific addresses of ticket outlets.

The Holiday Dance is one of two Swingtime events in December. Tickets are also available for Swingtime’s annual New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and Dance, December 31 at 8 p.m. at a larger venue this year – the Hilton Rialto. Cost is $125 per person, or a table for 10 can be reserved for $1,250.
